Dr John Hampson
Veterinarian (BVBiol/BVSc)
John graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2011 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Biology and Veterinary Science. His passion for animals began during his childhood on a small property in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales. Growing up, he gained hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, chickens, horses, and cows.
Since graduating, John has worked in three veterinary clinics across Northern New South Wales and South East Queensland, gaining experience in both small and large animal care. After nine years in practice, he decided to embark on a new journey by opening his own veterinary clinic in 2019.
John is deeply passionate about animal care and is committed to creating a welcoming, supportive environment where pets and their families feel valued. He has a particular interest in small animal surgery, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, and performing orthopaedic procedures.
At home, John cares for six Arabian horses, several Brangus cross cows, chickens, and a very spoiled Kelpie named Gemma.
In his free time, John enjoys spending time with his family, cycling, and running. He is also pursuing his private pilot’s license and is close to completing his training in a Cessna.

Dr Joanne Dullens
Veterinarian (BVSc/BOccThy)
Joanne is a local, having spent her early years in Pigabeen, Northern NSW. She graduated from the University of Queensland in Brisbane in 2002 with a degree in Occupational Therapy.
After ten years in the field, Joanne decided it was time for a career change and returned to university to study Veterinary Science. She graduated in 2018 from James Cook University in Townsville.
Joanne loves all creatures, great and small, but has a particular soft spot for dogs and goats. She enjoys the variety and challenges of everyday veterinary practice and has a special interest in medicine and surgery. In the future, she hopes to explore animal acupuncture.
Outside of work, Joanne enjoys spending time with her toddler, Violet, as well as her family and friends. She loves paddling at the local beaches, travelling, and the occasional motorbike adventure.

Madeline
Practice Manager (Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing )
Madeline began her career in Veterinary Nursing in 2010 and completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing at Brisbane North Institute of TAFE.
Madeline enjoys all aspects of her job. She has a special interest in wildlife care, anaesthesia and surgical nursing, client and patient relations, and providing the highest standard of care for your beloved pets.
She shares her home with two feline sisters, Kitty and Pippen, who enjoy napping and being irresistibly cute.
Outside of work, Madeline loves spending quality time with her family and friends, travelling, and playing guitar.
Madeline is currently on maternity leave.

Jaymee
Practice Manager (Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing )
Jaymee began her career in veterinary nursing in 2010 and completed her studies in 2011.
She has always had a deep love for animals and is dedicated to providing exceptional care to both patients and their owners.
Jaymee has a special interest in surgical nursing and small animal dentistry.
At home, she shares her life with Brax, a 13-year-old Cavoodle who loves daytime naps and plenty of cuddles.
Together with her husband, children, and furry companion, Jaymee enjoys walks, park outings, and beach adventures

Megan
Veterinary Nurse
Megan began her career in veterinary nursing in 2011 and has always been passionate about caring for animals.
She has a special interest in surgery and patient monitoring.
Megan is the proud owner of Theo, a lively 1-year-old Australian Terrier x Jack Russell, and Hudson, a 14-year-old Manx cat.
Outside of work, Megan enjoys soccer, running, snowboarding, gardening, and, most importantly, spending time with her family.
Megan is currently on maternity leave with her newest baby girl.

Fran
Registered Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing )
Fran started Veterinary Nursing in 2021 and completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2022.
She has a feline friend named Pebbles who is a 7-year-old domestic short hair that she adopted from the AWL QLD. Pebbles loves a good belly rub and holding hands when falling asleep.
Frans’ special interests in her career consist of assisting in surgery and aftercare, dental care, critical care nursing and animal behaviour. She also loves attending veterinary seminars and conferences.
Outside of work, Fran loves outdoor sports, pilates, camping, baking and handcrafts.

Tayla
Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing )
Tayla has been in the veterinary industry since 2020 and completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing through the Ashmore TAFE in 2023.
As a veterinary nurse, she has a passion for surgical nursing and enjoys that each day brings new diverse challenges and opportunities for growth.
She is the proud owner of Odie, a border collie x cattle dog. Tayla adopted Odie and, since then, he has shown his vibrant personality and brings endless joy and entertainment to her life, especially during their adventures to the beach.
Outside of work, Tayla enjoys taking her dog Odie camping and discovering new places together.

Phoebe
Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing )
Phoebe has recently finished her certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing through Kingscliff TAFE.
She loves all aspects of the job, especially the caring side. She loves meeting all the different animals and their owners that come into the clinic.
Phoebe is the proud owner of Dexter, a four-year-old mini-fox terrier who has a very loving personality.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and taking Dexter for long walks in the outdoors.

Brittany
Trainee Veterinary Nurse
Brittany is currently studying for her Certificate III in Veterinary Nursing and is deeply passionate about her new career in animal care.
She has a special interest in animal rehabilitation, including physiotherapy, as well as wildlife care and anaesthesia.
At home, Brittany is adored by her three cats: Chandler Bing, her oldest and most mischievous; Elliot Stabler, her sweet rescue; and Merlin, her charming but slightly clueless British Shorthair.
Together, they enjoy treats, belly rubs, and plenty of cuddles.
In her free time, Brittany stays active with dog walking, practising pilates, and spending quality time with friends over coffee and sweet treats. She’s also an avid reader who loves to unwind with a good book.
